Mission Statement
The Boca Raton Dog Club mission is to do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of all purebred dogs, to encourage sportsman like competition at dog shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club and to encourage all dog owners to enjoy their pets through a variety of activities. To continue educating ourselves and others on such topics as canine health , training, breeding, care, legislation and responsible dog ownership through seminars, reading and discussion. To recognize that growth as a club comes with growth of each individual member.
Our Story
Our club was sanctioned by the AKC on October 24, 1986 and held its first Plan B/OB match on March 22, 1987. It advanced to the Plan A/OA level on May 10, 1989 and held its first Plan A/OA match on October 29, 1989.
The club became a licensed club on May 31, 1990 and held its first licensed event on November 30, 1990. The club became a Member club on June 9, 2009
Boca Raton Dog Club raises funds to provide every rescue/fire vehicle in Palm Beach County with pet oxygen masks, and tracking harnesses for the Boca Raton Police K-9 Units. Boca Raton Dog Club is a 501c3 non profit organization.
